To us, being winemakers means producing high end wines year after year through working in harmony with nature.

We are located north of the River Danube, directly at the foot of the hill Wagram. Our cellars are built right into the Wagram, which plays an important role in the indoor climate and storage of our wines.

We cultivate an area of 43 hectares; 35% with red wine grapes and 4 hectares of orchards, mainly growing apple, apricot and Williams (Bartlett) pear trees. We focus on using natural methods for winegrowing and take great care in harvesting the grapes.

In our cellar we put a strong emphasis on quality, purity and natural vinification.

Karl Jr. and Matthias continue to enthusiastically work to exceed current quality standards and implement state of the art production.

Wine tasting

The opening hours for our shop and tasting room are Monday to Saturday from 8 am until 6 pm or call us to make an appointment outside of opening hours. Coaches are welcome with advance notice.

We highly recommend our “open house” which takes place every year on the first weekend in May and is a favourite with regulars.

We strive to produce the best quality in wine. Our many awards showcase our continuous efforts.
